About Us

Our Name:

Living Water Fellowship believes God for amazing things. We expect supernatural activity to become a daily occurrence in our lives.  Prior to 2008, Living Water Fellowship was Nevada Assembly of God.  We changed our name to represent what Jesus promised in John 7:38, that “Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from him.”  We are not a new church, but God is doing a new thing in us.

Our Values:

We believe that more than a creed, a religious practice, good morals, or good friends, there must be an encounter with the Living God through Jesus Christ.  It is an encounter that includes these realities:

Forgiveness of Sins – You are made right with God the Father through the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Righteousness – You receive the righteousness of Jesus, and God sees you as completely righteous. It is like you never sinned.

Baptisms – Water baptism represents your death and new life in Jesus. Baptism in the Holy Spirit empowers you to do the same stuff Jesus did while He was on the earth.

Fellowship – Fellowship with the Holy Spirit means you hang out with God all the time now.  Fellowship with each other means we are joined in one body when we encounter Jesus fully. We are part of one another. We encourage each other to get everything possible out of our relationship with God.

Revelation of His Word – Holy Spirit will teach us the foundation of everything we believe, which is the Bible.

Equipping for Service – God will raise us up for His work in the earth, including making disciples, loving the needy, moving in signs and wonders, and praying for God’s will to be done.

Our Beliefs:

“In the essentials we need unity, in the non-essentials we need freedom; but in all things we need love.”  Rupertus Meldenius

We are an Assembly of God church.  To see our general beliefs, click here.  We are a church in pursuit of an ongoing encounter with God, based on the Bible and continual times in His presence.  We know that we were created to enjoy God and to be enjoyed by God.  Pleasure can be a big part of our relationship with God.
